I have to say I'm surprised at you not mentioning Kylie becoming his companion for the Xmas Special!!!
Yes, I nearly blogged about the end of the season, but then thought since nobody (strangely) has posted it yet maybe I might 'spoiler them', so I've sat it out.
Kylie being in the Christmas special is fine by me... Catherine Tate's Donna as the new Side-Kick is very scary!

I haven't seen the Xmas Episode, so can't comment.
I did download the entire Chris Eccleston series yesterday which I'm going to watch. Once that's out the way it's the first Tennant series (Series 28 I believe)...by the time I've watched them i'll be able to watch the Crimbo special with Donna.
There is a Christmas Episode called "The Christmas Invasion" which falls between Series 1 (CE) and 2 (DT). It is sometimes referred to S2Ep0 on the web and may be included in a package of Season 2 if you acquire them!
The Runaway Bride was the Christmas Special for this year and is referred to as S3Ep0 etc.
Yeah cheers mate, i got them both.
